An authorised user can upload an inspection for themselves or on behalf of the person who completed the inspection using the form exampled here →

The Complete Inspection Report form contains the following information:

  • Asset Site and Name - as per other modals in SAM2.

  • Inspection Report Particulars:

    • Inspection Date - Mandatory and defaults to today’s date

    • Completed By - Mandatory – lists all users that the current user can submit a report on behalf of, defaulting to themselves

    • Main Report - Mandatory – Allows you as the user to select the report file to upload.

      • Note that a system table should determine what files are acceptable in this field and may likely exclude anything other than PDFs so as to ensure that the operator doesn’t accidentally upload the original excel spreadsheet which contains 2MT’s algorithms

    • Customer Link - This is a read-only text box field. The unique / secure publicly sharable link URL.

      • Note that this URL is created by the system but the portion of the link displayed that relates to the domain and prefix are configurable within the system constants. In the example shown, the URL “https:///2mtsam.com/pir/” would be stored as a system-wide constant, and only the randomly generated string, “s3Zfsp30Q1Ag” would be stored against this report record. Selecting the “Exchange” button will generate a new unique URL, populate it in this field and also reset the link expiry date control to today’s date plus 60 days (system configurable default)

    • Link Copy button Selecting this button will copy the contents of the customer link onto the user’s clipboard →

    • Link Expiry - The link expiry is the date when the link created will no longer work. This date is set by default to 60 days (a system configurable default) but can be altered.

      • Note that another system configurable setting will be the “maximum” expiry period, set by default to 120 days and a future date past this maximum should not be accepted. Note that if this control is ever displayed with a date before today’s date, the text is styled with RED font.
