Selecting a notification from the notification search or elsewhere in the system will reveal the “View Notification” Summary. The purpose of this modal is to provide an overview of the content of the notification as well as additional information about its delivery status.
The Notification Summary contains the following elements;
- Summary - The overview of the notification. This section is always visible and does not scroll.
- Message Content - A group section expanded by default. Part of the scrollable section.
- Group Recipients - A group section that will only appear for group notifications. Collapsed by default
- Message - A group section expanded by default. Collapsed by default
- Transmission Log - displays a detailed log of the transmission
- Timestamp
- Recipient
- Log: Sent as a Push Notification, Marked as Received, Marked as Opened etc.
Elements of the Notification summary in detail;
- Notification Title - The title of the notification
- Time sent - The full, formatted time
- Recipient(s) - For single notifications, the name of the recipient user is shown in the format of
“surname, first name”.
For group notifications: the text “[number] Recipients” is shown.
Note that if the staff user does not have role level for [customers] of 1,2 or 3, the name
of the recipient user is hidden. - Sending User - The name of the user or service that sent the notification. The
possible icons for these are defined as; - Method - An icon to represent the type of notification that was sent, based on the following
options: - Received - A visual indicator is shown to indicator if the user has “received” the notification. The timestamp when the message
was received is also shown. If the message has not been received, the text “Not Received” should is displayed. - Opened - The “opened” indicator functions identically to the “received” indicator. The timestamp when the
message was received is shown. If the message has not been received, the text “Not Opened” should be listed.
Message Content:
The full content of the message in italics. This section is a group that can be collapsed if desired by the user.
Group Recipients:
The section is only applicable for group notifications. It is intended to show all of the recipients that were sent a
notification and their respective status. The group is collapsed by default and is hidden completely for single
notifications.
Message Transmission Log:
This section shows the full log of events for the transmission of a notification. This applies both to single user notifications or group notifications
