The site navigator Site Navigator panel shows a list of all “sites” within the system, grouped by their parent company. One important part of this navigator is that the list of sites (and companies) will be limited to those companies that the user has permission to view.
The contents of the site navigator panel lists all of the companies that the user has some form of access to, as group header beneath which the individual sites are listed. These groups can be expanded or contracted to show or hide the sites underneath.
This control scrolls vertically when there is enough data. The scroll only appears if there is enough data to require a scroll down and up in the panel area.
The Site Navigator has a Region Control which is a drop down box containing the currently selected region and allows the user to select a different region - for example AU and US.
Note: If the user only has access to a single region, then this control will be hidden completely.
The maximize button will maximise the whole Site Navigator window redirecting you to the “Site Results” page - Maximising the control will redirect you away from the home dashboard.
When you click on a Site in the Site Navigator window, its row is highlighted green - as per the example here →
This will then load the Asset Controller window to the right and display all assets and arranged in tabs.
You can also hover over the icons to display more information about the site.
When the tooltip is displayed (as per the example), this will reveal the same details for both equipment and parts, being:
Site name with site code in brackets (A6)
“Assets” and the number of assets assigned to the site
“Active Parts” and the number of active parts
“2MT Parts” and the number of active parts supplied or resold by 2MT.
When you Un-click the site row - you will see that the Asset controller section to the right of the Site Navigator shows a message reading “Asset Controller: No Site Selected” and “Select a site in the Site Navigator panel on the left.”
