In order for your user to have access to the MiWater Application, first ensure that your user role is set in MiWater Private:
Under System Configuration → Manage Users and Roles → find your user name → Operations → Modify Roles → "mobileUser" must be set to a minimum of "Device Access".
To download MiWater Mobile, open the Microsoft App store on your Device, Search MiWater and download.
Open the App and Select "Configuration Options" from the Login Page.
Connect to your MiWater Private site through entering the correct details in the below fields then selecting Save. Before saving ensure the Online? status is Yes. This indicates that the device has a connection to the internet while the Connected? status indicates a connection to the site. This status will only be updated if a successful connection to a site has been made.
Once the site details have been saved, it may take up to a minute to sync settings to the site. If the device cannot be identified through the site after this point, re-check your configuration details and try again.
Copy the following Configuration details into the app;
URL Prefix: - Using your MiWater Private site address, this field is the prefix details. e.g.
https:// - In the address https://demo.miwater.co
Server IP Address: - Using your MiWater Private site address, this is the name of the site. e.g. demo.miwater.co - In the address https://demo.miwater.co
Root Path: - Always set this as "/" (This will only differ if specifically instructed)
Domain Name:- Used when Domain login has been setup in the system. (Leave as the default in most cases)
Device Key: - Auto generated field. This will display when the mobile device successfully creates a connection with the site
