The second panel on the home dashboard is the Asset controller panel.

This panel, as exampled is bound to the site navigator control in that its contents are updated in response to the selected site from that control.

Shows when a Site has been selected, thus populating the Asset Controller

Shows when a Site has not been selected, thus no loading of the Asset Controller section.

Across the top of the Asset Controller is a tabbed header allowing the user to switch between different asset type groups. The number of tabs in this control will be determined by the number of asset groups applicable for the asset that exists for the selected site PLUS the first tab with the title “ALL” which will show all assets regardless of type.

To change the view of the Asset Controller, click on the “Switch to tile view” button.

(*To switch back, you select the Switch to List view button. )

When Asset Controller layout is set to List View, the following attributes are shown in the columns:

Tabbed table view - the tabs across the top of the table show the type of assets split by asset type, such as Buckets, Draglines, and Excavators, and an “All” tab which shows All the assets together in one table. See the example highlighted here →

  • Icon/ Image - A circular image for the asset, presumed to be uploaded against the asset previously. Where no image exists, a generic placeholder will be displayed.

  • Asset Name - The name of the asset (or bucket)

  • Asset ID - The ID number controller for the asset

  • Asset Manufacturer, Model - The manufacturer and model. The following are possible examples:

    • CAT M8050

    • CQMS Loadstar

    • Telsmith Jaw 36x46

  • Asset Type - The associated icon for the asset type, followed by the name of the asset type.

  • Attached Asset - The name the attached asset (if applicable), followed by an ID controller. Below this is the name of the asset type for the attached asset.

  • Parts - Two number values showing the total number of 2MT parts assigned to the asset, followed by the total number of parts assigned to the asset.

  • Action Control (Operations) - The actions associated with an asset can be found beneath the action control (based on your user permission and roles.)

At the bottom of the Asset Controller there are buttons for View Site and Create Asset.

Row Behaviour:

When you mouse over one of the sites listed in the control, the background of the row will be highlighted.

When you select a specific row by way of a single click, this redirects you to the Asset Manager.

When the Asset Controller layout is set to Tile View the same tabbed header is displayed across the top allowing the user to switch between different asset type groups. The number of tabs in this control will be determined by the number of asset groups applicable for the asset that exists for the selected site PLUS the first tab with the title “ALL” which will show all assets regardless of type.

Tiles contain the following information and are ordered by:

  • Asset Name

  • Asset Type

  • Asset Model

  • Icon/Image - A circular image for the asset.

  • Asset Name The name of the Asset

  • Asset ID - The ID number of the equipment

  • Asset Manufacturer, Model and Type - The manufacturer, model and type. The following are possible examples;

    • CAT M8050 Dragline

    • CAT 7495 Shovel

    • CQMS Loadstar Bucket

    • Telsmith Jaw 36x46 Crusher

  • Action Controller - The actions associated with asset can be found beneath the action control (based on the permissions and roles of the logged in user).

Tile Behaviour:

You can mouse over the tile which will change the background colour of the tile and become highlighted.

To select a tile, click on it and this will redirect you to the Asset Manager.
