The most recent notifications received are shown as a list. Those notifications may include generic notifications which are sent from GWCC via the management portal, such as a planned water outage, or may relate specifically to the logged in customer such as a water leak notice.
All notifications generated by the system have two timestamps recorded.

These are:

• The creation timestamp
• The timeout timestamp (optional)
The combination of these two timestamps are used to determine what notifications should appear in this list. The business rules are stated as:
• Any unread notification where the timeout timestamp is set in the future -OR-
• Any notification without a timeout timestamp that was created in the last 7 days -OR-
• Any unread notifications without a timeout timestamp that were created in the last 21 days

Notification should be ordered by timeout timestamp descending, followed by creation timestamp descending. A maximum of 5 notifications should be shown in this space. Where no notifications exist, a label should be shown in the place of this list.
The “Latest Notifications” group header will have a hyperlink to “Show All”. This will connect with the functionality described in Section 5.6.2.

Images on this page are to be updated once developed - at the moment these are images from the spec.

When the user selects the “Show All” notifications option in the “Latest Notifications” group from the home page these will be shown. Two groups are shown for the notifications, including recent (14) days and all others. It should be noted that notifications are not typically deleted completely
