Processing of meter and AMR files occurs on a row by row basis. This means that while the entire file’s data may not be valid, the rows whose data is valid can be processed. The rows which were invalid during this process will be added to the exceptions list in the form below. Meter and AMR File Processing – Unprocessed Exceptions enables the user to view and amend these unprocessed rows (see Figure 78). This form is split into two panels. “Water Meter installations and Replacements” lists all unprocessed exceptions from meter file uploads, whereas the “AMR Installations and Replacements” lists all unprocessed exceptions from AMR file uploads.

To view a specific exception’s details, click the “View” Button adjacent. This will open a popup listing the exception’s details and the error(s) found (see Figure 79). To exit the window, select the “Close” button.

To Process an exception, click the “Process” button adjacent to the row you wish to process. This will open a popup containing an editable field for each of the exception row’s details, and the details of the error(s) found (see Figure 80). To delete the exception, click the “Delete Row” button. To process the exception, amend the error(s) listed by editing the corresponding fields then click the “Save & Process” button. If all errors are successfully resolved, the page will indicate that the row has been processed.
