This option allows you to search for meter and AMR advices that have been submitted via the “Water Meter and AMR Advice Processing” form (see Figure 69)


or via the “Upload Meter and AMR Advice Spreadsheet” form (see Figure 74).


To search for an advice, enter the relevant search criteria and then click “Search” (see Figure 74). To select a reference number, click the   icon, and refer to Figure 70 for more information.  Click “Back” to return to the AMR management menu and dashboard.

The results of the search will be displayed under the search form (see Figure 75). The following results are displayed.

  • Address: Meter/AMR Property Address.
  • User Modified: The user who most recently modified/created the advice.
  • Date: Date of Advice Event.
  • Advice Details: Details of the advice.
  • Device Details: Details of the device used to create the advice.
  • ID: Advice ID.
  • Skipped: In some instances, the user may wish to create an advice even if the work was not physically completed for some unforeseen reason. These advices should be marked as skipped.
  • Select: Click to view/edit the advice.



View / Modify Existing Advice

Accessed by selecting a result from the “Meter Advice Search” Page, this page allows the user to view, update or remove a Meter Advice (Seen in Figure 76).

















Advice Information:

The advice information portlet provides the user with comprehensive advice information as well as advice operations. The following operations are available.

Advice Operations:

  • Mark AMR for Regeneration: Marks the Advice to be regenerated via a nightly process.
  • Regenerate AMR Now: Manually regenerates the AMR. Note that this may take some time.
  • DELETE Advice: Removes the Advice record.


Edit This Advice:

To Edit the advice, alter the fields under the “Edit This Advice” header. Once completed, select the “Save” button. Clicking the save button will open a popup which displays field validation results. To exit the validation and alter the Advice fields, select the “Cancel” button. Otherwise, select the “Finalise Advice” button to finalise any changes and return to the “Meter and AMR Advice Search” page. “Save and Next” will perform the aforementioned save function and then move onto the next advice listed in the “Meter and AMR Advice Search” page. For more information on editable fields regarding the Meter advice, refer to 6.1 Manual Advice Processing.
