The “Water Dashboard” is the second of the three main navigation tabs for the application, intended to display all information to the user about properties that they have registered within MiWater.

It is an app-based substitute for the current MiWater mobile web application, though its functionality is broader – effectively giving the user identical access to functionality as the main browser-based version of MiWater by including things like registrations and configuration of alerts.

The water dashboard is only available to those users that have logged in. Where that hasn’t occurred and the user selects the dashboard, they will be presented with a message. The content of this message is configurable within the management portal.

The Water Dashboard includes the following data:

• The specific accounts / properties that are registered, their details and their status.
• Recent consumption for 7-day metrics
• Recent consumption data to drive chart
• Flags data for alerts, high consumption etc.
• Data that will appear on the “Account Summary” including:

  • Summary data, including 7-day trend and leak status
  • Meter list and readings
  • Alert configuration

The triggers for refreshing the data in the water dashboard are as follows:

• On first open
• On re-open, when the last synchronisation was longer than 12 hours ago
• After a notification has been received that a registration has been approved
• In response to a “force sync” notification sent from the management portal
• When manually triggered by the user
