When a part is selected in a view context, it will be displayed via a modal as per the example shown here →

This modal will scroll vertically if required and a number of the sections are collapsed by default.

Details of the View Part form are as follows:

Product Name

The product name remains fixed above all other sections that have been expanded and is shown in a green font larger than the rest of the text in the form.

Product section (Expanded by default)

The first section in the form contains details of the product relating to the part. For different parts with the same product, this section would should the same information. The following is applicable for this section;

  • Title - “Product” - and Part number/ Code with a View Product Button to the right of the header.

  • Product No - Product Number

  • 2MT Product - Either “Yes” or “No” depending on if this product is made or sold by 2MT.

  • Common Name - The common name for the part

  • Default Price - The default price for the part if it exists in the system.

  • Manufacturer -The manufacturer code (bold) and manufacturer name

  • Serial Number - The Product serial number

  • New / Refurbished - The text “New” or “Refurbished” depending on the product information as well as the applicable icon

  • Target Life - The target life and the unit of production for the part (such as BCM)

  • Weight - The weight of the product

  • Equivalent 2MT Product -This field will only appear if the product itself is not a 2MT product. It will state the product part number and the product name with an information button which, when pressed, will open the “View Product” modal

  • Product Category - The product category for this part.

NOTE: Pages Add Default Price / Material Number Modal& Edit Default Price / Material Number Modaldescribe the process of actually defining the parameters against a product. Subsequently, it may be possible for additional fields to be created against a product.

Sub-Section: Product Category Key Fields (Collapsed by default)

As a subsection within the product section that lists all additional key fields relating to the product category. These fields ware defined within the products manager

The following is displayed for all key fields within the product category for this product:

  • Field Name - The name of the field defined against the product category

  • Description -The description of the key field defined against the product category

  • Value - The value recorded for this product. Any key fields with a type of “text” will show the value in quotes as per the example

As a subsection within the product section is a table of all images, documents and links associated with the product in question. If the parent product section is collapsed, this section should be hidden completely. This section behaves the same as Images, Documents and Links modal.

Section: Part (Fit in Place) - Expanded

The second large section contains details of the individual part and its current assignment to the asset.

Details are as follows:

  • Title - Part (Fit in Place) with the Part Serial number displayed in the header.

  • Edit Part Fitting button - to the far right of the header. This will close this modal and begin the process of completing a “Bulk Part Changeout” with this one part selected for editing and the “Edit Part Fitting” modal activated.

Section details then go on to list the following Part information:

  • Serial Number - The part’s serial number

  • Position - The position recorded for the part

  • Assembly - The assigned part assembly

  • Sub-Assembly - The assigned part sub-assembly

  • Date Fitted - The date and time the part was fitted

  • Target Life (Revised) - The parts currently configured target life (production)

  • Production (Total) - The total production attributed to the part (irrespective of the asset assignment history)

  • Weight (Revised) - he weight of the part (which may be different from the product)

  • Location - A typical summary layout for the site that the part is assigned to. A select button will close the modal and open the site’s dashboard

  • Attached to - A typical summary layout for the asset that the part is assigned to. A select button will close the modal and open the asset’s dashboard. In the event that the part is not currently fitted to an asset, this space will instead state only “Parked” and the name of the part.

  • Notes - Any high-level comments recorded about the fitted part.

Sub-Section: Part Images, Documents and Links (Collapsed)

As a subsection within the part section is a table of all images, documents and links associated with the part in question. If the parent product section is collapsed, this section should be hidden completely.

Sub-Section: Part Fitting History

This section shows past and projected future production for a part based on projections that have been recorded against the asset the part is (or was) attached to.
