PM Day/ Bulk Part Change
The “Bulk Part Changeout” functionality allows an authorised user to remove, replace or change part configurations against an asset.
This is modelled on the “PM Day / Add Remove Parts” functionality within SAM1, though the method of operation is slightly different, with common functions grouped together and individual records editable within modal controls rather than directly within the primary layout.
When a user selects this function, a new part change transaction is created.
As the user completes changes, such as moving or rotating parts or remove / refitting parts, these are all stored within the transaction but not committed until the user selects the “Commit Change-Out” button upon which they will be asked to confirm the changes before they are finally saved.
The following sections describe each of these functions;
Asset Summary Panel - this panel contains the same summary information about the asset and its site
Instructions Panel - An instructions panel explains to the user how to use this form. This content is configurable at the system level.
Parts Management Panel - The Parts management panel contains all information and controls relating to performing a bulk part changeout. It is comprised of two parts being a section of control buttons and the controller itself. The control buttons perform actions depending on what parts (rows) are selected as per Section 3.6.7.6. The panel title has the following definition:
Parts Control Buttons -
Depending on context a button may be disabled, specifically if there are no parts selected on which to perform their function.
