The entry point to SAM2 is a dedicated login form, accessible by a 2MT user through their web browser.

Since users that arrive at the login form will not yet be authenticated, limited functionality is available here.

As the entry point to the application, a background image is shown as a means to both welcome the user and to display 2MT branding for the system.

 

 

 

Users of SAM2 application must be created by an authorised 2MT Staff user as there is no way for a new user to sign up to the system.

  • Users log in with an email address as their username.

  • Users are able to select the Forgot password link if they need to reset their password.

  • Users can check the “Remember Me” box in the login form so that their email / username is remembered for the next time they access the SAM2 URL.

Please note: 'Remember Me' will only remember your username or email address and NOT your password.

 

User session is configurable and is currently set to 60 min. After 60min of inactivity, you will be logged out of SAM2.
