Parts Management

Within SAM2, a part is a single instance of a product that has been created, sold or assigned. A part would typically be associated with an asset when in production, but may be parked or stored. Though the system is capable of tracking production against an individual part, most functionality manages parts in their aggregate against an asset.

As a result, parts management within the system is performed with relation to an asset, triggered by the user from different forms and dashboards for a single part
