The Data Continuity Drilldown report can only be reached via the result set of the Data Continuity report. The Data Continuity Drilldown report doesn’t allow for users to modify search parameters, as the drilldown is intended to display the results that were used to calculate the summarised data shown in the Data Continuity report.

The search parameters panel displays the values that were selected in the original Data Continuity report, as well as the specific drilldown parameters that were selected when redirecting to the Data Continuity Drilldown report (see Figure 41).

Figure 41 - Data Continuity Drilldown Report Search Parameters

For Example, the parameters shown in Figure 41 will allow the Data Continuity Drilldown report to show all results with a data quality between 50% and 70% for the chosen suburb.

The report results can also be exported by clicking the “Export to CSV” button on the search parameters panel or the similar Export to CSV button shown at the bottom of the results panel.

An example of the results returned by this report is shown below (see Figure 42).

Configuring Data Continuity Data Bands

A feature of the Data Continuity report is that the percentage values used for grouping the summarised data for each data quality band, are configurable by any user with the appropriate user roles.

By default, the data bands are configured to correspond with the following number of expected pulses per day:

NOTE: These values are based on a typical AMR reporting once an hour, with an expected number of 24 pulses in a single day.

Some tags which report more/less frequently than this, may be banded differently based on the number of reports compared with the expected number for a given time period.

For more information regarding the expected number of pulses for a particular model of AMR, please contact your hardware supplier.

Modifying the data band levels requires a user with, at minimum, the level 1 system administrator user role. The values stored in the system constants represent the maximum value for a given data quality band. For example, the default value for the system constant “DataContinuityBand1” is 4, representing 4% data quality. Similarly, the value for the constant “DataContinuityBand2” is 20, representing 20%. Each band shown on the Data Continuity report uses the current band’s value from the relevant system constant, as well as the value from the previous, lower band as the minimum value. The only data quality bands that are not user configurable are the 0% and 100% bands.

The system constants that are applicable to this report are:

  • DataContinuityBand1
  • DataContinuityBand2
  • DataContinuityBand3
  • DataContinuityBand4

For more information on updating System Constants, please see section 'Manage Companion Data'
