Worker Notes
The Worker Notes section is hidden by default and can be expanded using the arrow.
This section is designed to help you log time against the job. The form itself should tracks its own usage based on the your interaction with the form, giving you (the operator), the ability through the “worker notes” to override the total effort taken.
Fields here to complete are as follows:
Effort (hh:mm) - Clicking the Clock icon beside the Effort field will open a pop up where you can set the Hours and Minutes
Start Timer - The time that work on this advice started. This will automatically be set when activity has first been detected on this advice (such as a field being changed)
End Timer - The time that work on this advice ended. This will automatically be set when the advice is saved, or when a different batch item is selected. The end timer will only be set if activity has been detected on this advice (such as a field being changed)
Classification - drop down field containing the following options:
Dig-Out Required
Pruning Required
Details - A free text field for you to add more notes
The Timers within the Worker Notes section will only be triggered under certain circumstances. The rules for the worker notes start/stop timers are as follows:
Timer Triggered | Action to make the Timer Trigger |
---|---|
None (No time is logged) | • An advice being opened and viewed without change • A batch advice being opened or “picked” • Performing a search function without selecting an item • Viewing instructions • Viewing swipe reports |
Start Timer | • Any field being edited, changed, deleted or replaced. • The photo controller opened • A successful NFC scan • Requesting a swipe report |
Stop Timer | • Setting the “Effort” field in the worker notes section manually (an override) • Selecting “Save” or “Save and New” for an advice. • Selecting “Pick”, “Next” or “Last” for an advice when a timer is active. |
Delete Timer (A timer record may be deleted automatically, removed from the log when any of the following occur…) | • There is less than 30 seconds between a “start timer” and a “stop timer” event • The advice is cancelled, or another advice is selected without any changes to the first advice. |
