Modify Site
A user with suitable permissions is able to modify an existing site within the system. This will reveal a modal as per the example →
The details of the form are near identical to the “Create Site” functionality -
Form fields to complete:
Site Name - The displayed site name
Site Abbreviation - An abbreviation of the site name
Company - The company linked to the site (drop down list)
Region - The site’s region (drop down list)
Address Line 1 - site address line 1
Address Line 2 - site address line 2
Address Line 3 - site address line 3
Lat/ Long - Geographical location of the site (map button to drop pin on map).
CRM URL - The site’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Site URL - The Site/ Company URL/ website
Logo Image - Image displayed as the site’s logo
Local Time Zone - The site’s time zone
Pits Group:
When modifying a site, the pits group. is also displayed, defaulting to “collapsed”.
However, in this context, there are options available that allow the user to modify, delete or create a pit.
This group also has a header-level button with the title, “Add Pit” which will connect to the functionality described in Section “Create Pit”
Note; that if the user connects with one of these functions, the result will be that the current modal will be closed and the other modal opened. Also, you will be presented with a warning if you attempt to connect with one of these functions and some of the fields in the “form” section have bene changed, recommending that they save first.
Footer section of the Modify Site page:
Cancel - Will close the modal, cancelling the operation
Delete Site - Will trigger the “delete site” function as described in more detail here
Save changes- Will validate and save the details on the form as a new site. If validation fails, these will be highlighted
