Service Request Map Search Results
When you select the option to view all service requests on a map, in the Service Request search form, those results will be displayed using the coordinates of each request that was submitted. This variant will also allow you to return to the “filters” tab.
The service requests are shown on the map with a suitable marker. Those markers reflect the same colour identifiers which were defined in service requests' age. The following table defines these:
When you click on one of the service requests, the map will reposition to place the marker in the top one-third of the vertical and horizontal space.
This overlay remains active until you click away from the marker or selects another marker. Contained within this overlay are the following pieces of information:
- Request Type
- Date of submission
- Physical Address
- An appropriate user icon:
- If the user is registered, a blue icon is shown
- If not, a grey icon is shown
- Name of the user submitted for the request
- The age of the request in a colour-bound box. The colour of these is determined by system constants, which default to:
- 7 Days: Red
- 1-7 Days: Orange
- <1 Day: Yellow
- Complete: Green
Clicking anywhere inside the overlay triggers the “view” version of the service request.
